Client data is retained for the duration of the active professional relationship, or for such longer period as may be required to meet applicable legal, regulatory, or professional obligations.
Upon termination of the professional relationship, and subject to any applicable retention requirements, the client’s HomeBase by Stein Works deployment may be deactivated and data associated with that deployment may be permanently deleted from active systems within a reasonable timeframe. Residual data contained within routine system backups, where applicable, may persist until removed through normal backup rotation.
In the event of a suspected data security incident affecting client information, Stein Works will take reasonable steps to investigate and contain the issue and comply with applicable professional and legal notification obligations.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and retaining their own copies of important records and documents. Stein Works is not responsible for inaccuracies originating from client-provided information.
